H.A.R.T. Program

Teaching high-risk, inner-city youth the skills to become successful in life is at the core of the H.A.R.T program.

The four major components of the program are:

Health and science education on nutritional based diseases, healthy meal plans, fresh produce pop ups and physical activity including skateboarding to promote a healthier lifestyle to help fight obesity.

Art will help students who struggle cognitively, emotionally, or behaviorally. Art therapy at schools will help children of all ages restore a healthy balance with stress, trauma, depression, and emotional difficulties as well as build confidence and provide problem solving skills. While promoting a safe space for students to express and explore their creativity.

The restorative justice workshops in the school setting are to reduce disengagement that is associated with the exclusionary discipline such as suspension. Restorative justice will encourage students’ behavior by emphasizing a healthy school community, it will help students become effective problem solvers, critical thinkers and leaders. By providing weekly workshops TNF will strive to create a healthy school community.

The technology will promote an immersive experience that will spark creativity in the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to engage with their peers while sharing ideas and having constructive conversations. The TNF Technology program will provide a pathway for students to acquire high-sought after skills in the job market including critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
